Professional Certificate in Culinary Operations

Alpine Center introduces a one-year Professional Certificate in Culinary Operations course designed for students/trainees/applicants interested in pursuing the chefing profession or certifying existing cooking knowledge for existing professionals.

The course provides students an introductory grounding in food commodities and culinary principles, menu planning and design, food hygiene and HACCP in addition to cooking techniques and practical application of these skills and knowledge through daily food preparation in the Center’s operating hotel facility. In order to further develop and reinforce students/trainees’ learning Alpine Center will organise an industry placement of 20 weeks in a high quality hotel or restaurant either in Greece or abroad.

Following the successful completion of the course and placement Graduands will be eligible for the award of the Alpine Professional Certificate in Culinary Operations. Holders of this Professional Certificate will have the possibility to transfer credits earned towards a higher level programme of study in Culinary Arts.
