Alpine College, the Swiss Business School for Hotel and Tourism Management Education in Greece, is affiliated with DCT International Hotel & Business Management School, Vitznau-Lucerne, Switzerland, who confer the Swiss Diploma and Swiss Higher Diploma to students completing their studies in hotel management or culinary arts at this level.
DCT and Alpine College share the same philosophy in preparing men and women for successful careers in the hospitality, tourism and culinary fields. Both schools blend practical with theory classes and run their courses in actual hotel buildings where their students also reside.
Alpine College’s Culinary Arts students can transfer seamlessly into DCT’s innovative Advanced Diploma in European Culinary Management programme, comprised of specialised courses in European Gourmet cuisine and European Pastry and Chocolate. At the same time, Alpine’s Master’s Degree in International Hospitality & Tourism Leadership is open to graduates of DCT’s Pre-MBA Post-Graduate Diploma programmes.
In 2004 the University of Wales, UK validated Alpine’s Hotel Management and Culinary Arts Management programmes.
There is, of course, one entity that must overwhelmingly recognize any educational establishment.
For Alpine that is the hospitality and tourism industry itself. Leaders and executives from all sectors and many countries are actively involved in the educational processes at Alpine: as recruiters of our students, and as members of the Advisory Board, which keeps Alpine faculty and students on the cutting edge of trends in the hotel and tourism industry.
