Building on the successful 2-year Swiss Diploma Course in Events & Conventions Management launched by Alpine College has designed a third and final year leading to the award of the BA(Hons) Events & Conventions Management.
The aims of this top-up degree course are to provide students with an in-depth understanding of events and conventions management issues and practices, and to develop the specialist knowledge and skills required in order for students to become successful managers in the international events and conventions industry.
Career opportunities for graduates of this course exist in professional congress organizations, conference, event or destination marketing, corporate meeting planning, hotel and resort conference management, festival direction, trade shows, association meetings, cultural events, fashion shows, museum and gallery opening, concerts and carnivals

Duration of the course: one academic year
Entry requirements: Holders of Higher National Diplomas or accredited Swiss Diplomas in Hotel Management, Events and Conventions Management, or Culinary Arts. We welcome applications from mature students without formal qualifications or traditional entry requirements but with relevant experience and a proficient level of English with the ability to pursue the programme successfully.
