MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP
An innovative addition to Alpine’s portfolio of courses, this MBA programme is aimed at aspiring or established business executives who wish to build on their prior professional experience and further develop their functional knowledge and their capacity for entrepreneurial business development, strategic decision-making, and operations planning and management so as to pursue an entrepreneurial route and enhance their potential for long-term business success and prosperity.
The programme is designed to expertly synthesise knowledge and contemporary best practice from different industries in order to equip participants with the skills and competences necessary for future entrepreneurs and executives. The programme’s content therefore focuses explicitly on entrepreneurship and international business management, strategic business planning, new product development, brand management and marketing, financial risk management and decision-making, human resource planning and in-company entrepreneurship, project management and other essential competence areas.

The cutting-edge teaching methods employed, with an emphasis on case study analysis, experiential learning and effective use of technology and learning resources, all contribute in bringing out the programme’s global business dimension, currency and relevance. In conjunction with the lecturers’ own expertise and experience in different industries, this approach furnishes participants with the knowledge, insight, analytical skills and confidence essential in starting up new ventures, pursuing a successful entrepreneurial path and developing a sustained track record of successes in the business world.
The MBA Entrepreneurship will be offered in a ‘traditional’ classroom-based format as well as on an online basis through Alpine College’s successful virtual learning environment – to suit the requirements and restrictions of both young graduates and active professionals from private and public sector organisations operating in any industry.
MA Admissions Requirements
Students wishing to enter the MBA in Entrepreneurship programme at ALPINE should have the necessary academic ability and professional experience to complete the programme successfully. Most typically, applicants will have an honours degree in a related subject and/or experience of the hospitality and tourism industry. Since all teaching and assessment will be in English, applicants will be expected to have reached the required standard.

A personal or telephone interview is conducted between the applicant and Alpine’s Academic Director to complete the application process.
