Swiss Certificate in Spa Management Online Course
Aims
The main aim of the Certificate in Spa Management programme is to equip individuals with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for success in employment in the spa industry at supervisory or management level, or for progression to an undergraduate level degree programme at a later stage. Individuals will acquire and develop skills that are transferable (Common skills) and will enable them to meet changing circumstances that they will encounter in their employment and the spa environment in general.
Objectives
The main objectives of the course are to enable its members to demonstrate:
- a range of skills, techniques, personal qualities and attributes essential for successful performance in working life, enabling them to make an immediate contribution to employment at the appropriate professional level;
- the knowledge, understanding and skills for success in employment in related industries;
- a capacity to raise the level of their academic attainment according to their individual capabilities and the specific requirements of the course;
- the ability to further professional qualification in a related area.
Structure
The Certificate in Spa Management programme covers 8 mandatory modules with a total of 120 credit points and leads to a certificate in Spa Management.The course includes the following modules:

Entry requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. We welcome applications from mature students with relevant experience and a proficient level of English with the ability to pursue the programme successfully
- Applicant must provide English language qualification (TOEFL, IELTS) or pass Alpine’s English language Entrance Test (online).
- Upon receipt of application form and English test results, candidate will be interviewed by telephone.
- Applicant must have acquired at least 12 months work experience in the service industry.
- Applicant must have completed high school studies or equivalent.
- Applicant will submit a completed application form together with a curriculum vitae and a reference letter from an employer.
